Plot: Two American students (Naughton and Dunne) come across the Slaughtered Lamb Pub while traveling through England. They are warned to stay on the roads and off the moors but stray from the road. They are attacked by a werewolf which kills Dunne and mauls Naughton. He wakes up in a hospital and has reoccurring nightmares through which he learns that he has become a werewolf. Naughton has a relationship with his nurse (spawning the awful An American Werewolf in Paris (1997)) and eventually dies when he is in wolf form.
